A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE 2020 ELECTION CYCLE
WHEREAS, a Sfiate Primary Election will be held on August 147 2020 and a State General
Election will be held on November 6, 2020; and
WHEREAS, MN Statute 204B.21, subd.2, requires election judges for precincts in a municipality
be appointed by the governing body of the municipality; and
WHEREAS, fihe City of Corcoran has three vofiing precincts; and
WHEREAS, the following Minnesota residents have agreed to serve as election judges and
have met the qualifications established by the State of Minnesota, or will be receiving training
prior to the elections and will be eligible to serve after meeting the qualifications established by
the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, In the event circumstances require judges to be appointed in addition to the
persons named in this resolution, the City Clerk is authorized to appoint as necessary, provided
the persons appointed meet all requirements of MN statute and administrative policy; and
.NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED, that the City of Corcoran hereby appoints the
following persons to be eligible election judges for the 2020 State Primary and General
Elections, with the understanding that amendments may be necessary to the appointments in
order to fill vacancies and meet party splits; and approves payment of an hourly wage of $10.00
per hour for elections judges. and, $10.50 per hour for head judges for election judge training,
direct balloting assistance, and time served on election day.

addition to the persons named in this resolution, the City Clerk is authorized fio appoint as
necessary, provided the persons appointed meet all requirements Of Minnesota statutes and
administrative policy.
