A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWARDS ZERO DEATHS GRANT
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has been a participant in the Towards Zero Deaths
program since 2003;
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran is part of nine agency group which works together to
manage the Toward Zero Deaths grant;
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran will be submitting a grant application on behalf of the
nine agency group to administer the grant for the period of October 1, 2019 to
September 30, 2019;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Corcoran Police Department enter into a
grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for traffic safety
enforcement projects during the period from October 1, 2019 through September 30,
2020.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Matt Gottschalk is hereby authorized to execute such
agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of
the Corcoran Police Department and to be the fiscal agent and administer the grant.
