RESOLUTION NO. 2019 -19

A RESOLUTION HONORING OUTGOING COMMISSIONER CHAD ROBRAN
WHEREAS, Chad Robran was appointed as a Parks and Trails Commissioner for an initial term from
September 2003 to December 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Chad Robran was successfully re- appointed to four additional terms from January 1,
2005 to February 28, 2019 which included six years as Vice -chair and a year as Chair of the Parks
and Trails Commission; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Parks and Trails Commission, Chad assisted in reviewing various
development plans, took part in planning the future park system and City as a whole, secured donations
and grant funds, assisted in improvements to several ball fields, and reviewed the parks budget and
staffing plan; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his service on the Parks and Trails Commission, Chad served on the
Downtown Design Guidelines Committee of 2014; and
WHEREAS, Chad Robran has elected to end his service on the Parks and Trails Commission as his term
expired on February 28, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran recognizes the time, energy, dedication, and leadership provided by
Chad Robran.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Corcoran, that the City Council hereby honors
Chad Robran for his distinguished service to the City of Corcoran and residents of the City.
