AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE MORATORIUM PROHIBITING
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY SOLAR GARDENS IN ALL RURAL RESIDENTIAL
AND URBAN RESERVE DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF CORCORAN
The Corcoran City Council ordains as follows:
Section 1. Study and Review Complete
a. Pursuant to the authority of Minn. Stat. §462.355, subd. 4, the Corcoran City Council
passed an Interim Ordinance 2017 -351 on May 25, 2017 prohibiting the establishment of
community solar gardens in all rural residential and urban reserve districts for a period of one
(1) year to allow the City to study the ordinance permitting such uses and discuss possible
amendments.
b. The City has completed its study and amendment of the code as it relates to the above
and an Ordinance Amending the Text of Title X of the Corcoran City Code, Entitled Zoning
Ordinance (2017 -355) was passed on September 28, 2017; therefore there is no longer a need
for the moratorium passed on May 25, 2017.
Section 2. Moratorium Repealed
The moratorium imposed by the City of Corcoran on May 25, 2017 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its publication and passage.
ADOPTED by the City Council on the 26th day of October, 2017.

AND URBAN RESERVE DISTRICTS WITHIN
THE CITY OF CORCORAN
Ordinance 2017 -357 repeals a moratorium on community solar gardens in all rural residential
and urban reserve districts.
A printed copy of the complete ordinance is available for inspection by any person at City Hall
during the City Clerk's regular office hours.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE X (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY CODE TO
CLASSIFY CERTAIN LAND LOCATED AT 19219 AND 19235 COUNTY ROAD 10 (PID 25-
119 -23 -44 -0002 AND 25- 119 -23 -44 -0003) (CITY FILE 17 -026)
THE CITY OF CORCORAN ORDAINS:
Section 1. Amendment of the City Code. Title X of the City Code of the City of Corcoran,
Minnesota, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Corcoran Zoning Map
from UR to PUD with respect to the 39.98 -acre site, legally described as follows:
Parcel 1:
That part of the West Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25,
Township 119, Range 23, lying South of the centerline of County Road 10, except the
West 300 feet thereof.
Parcel 2:
The West 300 feet of the West Half of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section
25, Township 119 North, Range 23 West, lying South of the centerline of County Road
10.
Section 2. Effective Date. This amendment shall take effect upon adoption of the
resolution approving the final PUD development plan for this project.
