HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2017-69 Approving Vacation of Drainage and Utility EasementCity of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -69 Motion By: LaFave Seconded By: Bottema October 26, 2017 APPROVING VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN THE "HALES CORNER 2ND ADDITION" SUBDIVISION (CITY FILE 17 -025) WHEREAS, Kenny Doboszenski ( "the applicant ") has requested approval of an easement vacation within the subdivision: WHEREAS, the subdivision will provide new drainage and utility easements adjacent to new lot lines and over water bodies as required by City Code; WHEREAS, the applicant has requested vacation of the existing easements as shown on Attachment A and legally described as follows: Lots 1 and 2, HALES CORNER, as dedicated on the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council considered this item at a duly called Public Hearing; WHEREAS, the City finds that the existing drainage and utility easements are no longer required as new easements were dedicated with the plat; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following vacation, subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant must record the resolution approving the vacation at Hennepin County and provide the City of Corcoran with proof of recording.
