I have a correction to the minutes from the prior meeting. I voted against the approval of the
preliminary PUD for encore.
Regarding the event ordinance, I would have concerns about noise, traffic, alcohol served on premises
as provided by guests. Based on the limited information provided I'm in general not supportive of the
idea. If it does move forward I think a a minimum we should consider the points listed by staff but also
minimum lot size, maximum occupancy on site and the serving of alcohol by guests/renters.
I would support staff recommendations on the small cell ordinance changes.
Regarding the changes to the financial guarantees ordinance, I don't support the proposed changes
decreasing from 125% to 100%. 1 believe the additional 25% provides protection for unforeseen
development costs over the engineers estimate. Economic conditions could change from the time of
the estimate substantially increasing the cost of materials or labor.
Please share my comments with the commission at today's meeting.
