RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -25

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE NORTHWEST AREA JAYCEES DONATIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran supports the efforts of the Northwest Area Jaycees; and
June 8, 2017
WHEREAS, the Northwest Area Jaycees made a financial donation to the City of Corcoran in
the amount of $650.00 for the Parks and Trails Commission Tree Giveaway,
WHEREAS, the Northwest Area Jaycees made a financial donation to the City of Corcoran in
the amount of $40,000.00 for a dynamic sign at City Hall;
WHEREAS, the Northwest Area Jaycees made a financial donation to the City of Corcoran in
the amount of $15,000.00 for the Meister Field Improvement Project,
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations as offered for
the benefit of the Parks and Trails Commission Tree Giveaway, Corcoran City Park and the City
of Corcoran and residents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Corcoran acknowledges
the generosity of the Northwest Area Jaycees and graciously accepts the donations.
