ORDINANCE NO. 2017 -351

INTERIM ORDINANCE TO PERMIT STUDY AND AMENDMENTS
TO THE OFFICIAL CONTROLS WITHIN THE CITY OF CORCORAN
The Corcoran City Council ordains as follows:
Section 1. Authority.
May 25, 2017
Pursuant to the authority of Minn. Stat. §462.355, subd. 4, a municipality is
permitted to adopt an interim ordinance prohibiting certain uses or development
within its jurisdiction, or any portion thereof, until such time as amended official
controls are adopted. The interim ordinance is not to exceed one year from the
date it is effective.
Section 2. Moratorium
A moratorium prohibiting the establishment of community solar gardens in
all rural residential and urban reserve districts of Corcoran is hereby declared.
This moratorium shall continue for a period of one (1) year commencing with the
adoption of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its publication and passage.
ADOPTED by the City Council on the 25th day of May, 2017.
