A RESOLUTION APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT RESOLVING THE
CITY'S PENDING CLAIMS RELATED TO SETTLEMENT AT THE PUBLIC WORKS
FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran brought claims against several contractors related to
settlement issues at the Public Works facility; and
WHEREAS, the City's mediation representatives and said contractors reached a settlement
agreement on April 24, 2017 which is subject to City Council approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of that settlement agreement and
desires to approve the same and authorize the dismissal of the City's claim upon receipt of
all settlement payments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran,
Minnesota that the City Council approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding in
Settlement of Dispute and authorizes the City Attorney to complete a stipulation of dismissal
upon the City's receipt of all contemplated settlement payments.
