A RESOLUTION AWARDING 2017 -2018 GRAVEL CONTRACTS
September 22, 2016
WHEREAS, on July 14, 2016 Council authorized staff to seek bids for gravel (Class 5)
for 2017 and 2018;
WHEREAS, staff placed the advertisement in the Crow River News and provided bid
advertisement to two companies who have participated in the bidding process in
previous years;
WHEREAS, bids were opened September 12, 2016 and the following bid was received;
2017 1 2018
I Fehn Companies 1 $6.26 per ton 1 $6.46 per ton I
BE IT RESOLVED, that Fehn Companies has been identified as the lowest responsible
bidder;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN,
MN:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contract
with above identified responsible bidder in the name of the City of Corcoran for gravel
for 2017 and 2018.
