City Council Work Session Minutes
January 14, 2016 - 5:30pm
The Corcoran City Council met on January 14, 2016 in work session, at City Hall in Corcoran,
Minnesota.
Present were Mayor Guenthner, Councilor Hank, and Councilor Thomas. Councilor LaFave arrived
6:00pm. Councilor Keefe arrived 6:30pm.
Also present were City Administrator Martens, Director of Public Safety Gottschalk, and City
Clerk/Administrative Services Coordinator Beise.
1. Call to Order/ Roll Call
Mayor Guenthner called the work session to order at 5:32pm.
2. 2016 Goal Discussion
City Administrator Martens presented the report reviewing the 2015 goals and the current projects
underway by staff. Council discussed updating technology in the council chambers for recording of
meetings, Commission appointments, the history of the Roehlke property, and continuing to work
on the downtown utility and street project and paving gravel collector roads project.
3. February Work Session Agenda
City Administrator Martens presented possible options for topics. Per consensus, Council selected
the topic of Regional Recreation Amenity for the February work session.
4. Unscheduled Items
No unscheduled were presented.
5. Adjournment
MOTION: made by Thomas seconded by LaFave to adjourn.
Voting Aye: Guenthner, Hank, Keefe, LaFave, and Thomas
(Motion carried 5:0)
Meeting adjourned at 6:43pm.
