The Corcoran Parks and Trails Commission met on March 17, 2015, at City Hall in Corcoran, Minnesota. Present were, Commissioners - Anderson, Dale, Krueger, Meister, Nybo, and Regan, Robran arrived at 7:12 pm. Absent: Commissioners Strehler and Tessmer Also present were City Administrator Martens and Council Liaison Mike Keefe Commissioner Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm 1. Call to Order / Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Agenda Approval a. Agenda Motion: made by Meister, seconded by Nybo to approve the Agenda as presented. Voting Aye: Anderson, Dale, Krueger, Meister, Nybo, and Regan (Motion carried 6:0) b. Minutes January 20, 2015 Motion: made by Dale, seconded by Regan to approve the Minutes as presented. Voting Aye: Anderson, Dale, Krueger, Meister, Nybo, and Regan (Motion carried 6:0) 4. Open Forum - None 5. Presentations - none 6. Reports/Information a. Active Planning Applications - City Administrator updated commissioners on planning items. b. Parks and Trails Commission Term Update – City Administrator provided an update on commissioner terms. 7. Old/Unfinished Business - None 8. New Business a. 2015 Priorities – Commissioners discussed priorities for the upcoming year and created a work plan for the year. Motion: made by Robran, seconded by Krueger to invite the softball organizer to an upcoming meeting if a group is established. Voting Aye: Anderson, Dale, Krueger, Meister, Nybo, Regan, and Robran (Motion carried 7:0) 9. Subcommittee & Miscellaneous Reports a. City Council Report – Councilmember Keefe updated the Commission on Council activities b. Athletic Association – Commissioner Dale informed the Commission that the deadline for registration was approaching and that approximately 250 kids have signed up c. Park Dedication Fund – Informational only 10. Other Business – Chair Anderson updated the Commission on the tree giveaway program 11. Announcements - none 12.
