Meeting Minutes
The Corcoran Parks & Trails Commission sponsored the dedication of the Corcoran
Memorial Garden at 6:00 to 7:30 pm, prior to their Commission meeting on October 1 gth.
The P & T Commissioners along with City Council members and Planning Commission
members participated in a ribbon - cutting ceremony.
Commissioners Present: Trish Krueger, Tom Anderson, Kevin Dale, Rachael Tessmer, Val Nybo,
Rob Vassallo, Tom Cossette, and Joan Parks.
Commissioners Absent: Chad Robran, Michelle Hausmann, Lindsay Jacobs
Others Present: Council Liaison Roz Milbrandt, City Administrator Dan Donahue
1) Convened Regular Parks & Trails Commission Meeting at 7:42pm —Chair Krueger
2) Approval of:
a) Agenda- Motion: by Anderson, Second by Tessmer to accept agenda as presented.
Voting Aye: All present (Motion carried 7:0)
b) Minutes of 09- 21 -10. Chair pointed out that the Soccer Club presenter's name was
misspelled- change "m" to "n ". Motion by Nybo and seconded by Tessmer with amendment.
Voting Aye: All present (Motion carried 7:0)
3) Open Forum -None
4) Presentations -None
5) Old / Unfinished Business
a) Review of Updated P & T Section of 2030 Comp Plan. Commission decided to wait until the
November meeting to discuss the P & T Section to the 2030 Comp Plan. Commissioners
were advised to read and be prepared to make any final edits at the next meeting.
Commissioner Cossette said that he would like to have the Park cost Spreadsheet on the next
agenda for further review.

7) Subcommittee & Miscellaneous Reports
a) City Council Liaison- Council member Roz Milbrandt updated the Commission on the 2011
Draft Budget process. She also talked about the Public Work's Budget process. She
mentioned how the PW personnel are tracking their activites especially hours dedicated to
Parks. The Chair asked that the City Administrator include the 2011 Budget and the tracking
of hours spent in park activities by city personnel. Council member Milbrandt also updated
the Commission on activities by the council in regard to the PW Facility search.
b) P & T Subcommittee on Use of alcohol in Parks -No Report
c) P & T Subcommittee on Signage -No Report
d) Park Dedication Fund Balance- Reviewed, no comment

10) Adjourn. Motion by Dale to adjourn. Seconded by Anderson. Voting Aye: All (Motion carried
