The Corcoran Parks and Trails Commission met on April 15, 2014, at City Hall in Corcoran, Minnesota. Present were 8 Commissioners - Anderson, Tessmer, Nybo, Regan, Meister, Krueger, Dale; Student Commissioners Monzo, and Minkoff. Arriving at 7:10 pm – Commissioner Robran Absent: Commissioner Strehler, Also present were City Administrator Martens, Administrative Support/Payroll and Benefits Coordinator Smith-Arens, City Planner Lindahl, and Council Liaison Councilor Cossette Commissioner Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm 1. Presentations 6. Reports/Information a. Active Corcoran Planning Applications – Informal no action required 7. Old/Unfinished Business Updates on Tree Give-away, Trail Head CO RD 19, NWJC’s Easter Egg Hunt 8. New Business a. Final PUD Development Plan for U.S. Home corporation (dba Lennar) for a residential development called “Ravinia” at Gleason Road and County Road 101 Discussion led by Planner Lindahl giving a presentation and update - Informational no action required b. Sports Fundraiser Opportunity Other options for advertising were discussed. It was decided that the CAA would take on the project to find business to advertise using the field fence line. Motion: made by Robran, seconded by Krueger to decline the opportunity for the bat rack and sign advertising offer.
