WHEREAS, Kopperhead Ranch, LLC has requested a land use guide plan amendment to
change from Low Density Residential to Agricultural Preserve on property legally described as
follows:
PID:26- 119 -23 -31 -0001
That part of the North one -half (N' /2) of the East three - fourths (E 3/4) of the Southwest
one -fourth (SW 1/4), lying South of the North 248.91 feet thereof; also that part of the
North 248.91 feet of the East three - fourths (E' /) of the Southwest one -fourth (SW Y44)
lying East of the West 350 feet thereof, except road, in Section Twenty -six (26),
Township One Hundred Nineteen (119), Range Twenty -three (23), according to the
Government Survey thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The South one -half (S Y2) of the East three - fourths (E' /4) of the Southwest one -fourth
(SW %), except road in Section Twenty -six (26), Township One Hundred Nineteen (119),
Range Twenty -three (23), according to the Government Survey thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for a
comprehensive plan amendment for the above referenced parcel, based on the following
findings and subject to the following conditions:
1. Approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment is contingent upon City Council
approval of the requested Agricultural Preserve designation and initiation of expiration.
2. Approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment is contingent upon Metropolitan
Council review.
3. The reclassification is consistent with the City's goals to encourage the continuation of
agricultural use within the community.
4. The City will initiate reclassification of the property when it is removed from the
Agricultural Preserve Program in 8 years.
