RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -86

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
A HEALTH EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT ARRANGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council deems it be advisable to provide a health
expense reimbursement arrangement ( "Plan") for certain current and former employees of the
City of Corcoran;
WHEREAS, such Plan is intended to be a Health Reimbursement Arrangement ( "HRA ")
within Sections 105 and 106 the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 ( "Code ") and in accordance
with Revenue Ruling 2002 -41 (June 26, 2002);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council hereby authorizes
establishment of the Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Council hereby authorizes and directs the
City Administrator of the City of Corcoran to act on behalf of the City of Corcoran in
accomplishing the establishment of the Plan, including but not limited to executing the
documents once finalized, and such person or persons be authorized to do whatever else is
necessary to accomplish this objective.
