RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT TO SEEK FUNDING FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
CSAH 30 FROM 1000 FEET WEST OF CSAH 101 TO DUNKIRK LANE
WHEREAS, this roadway serves as access to Interstate 94 and other points east; and.
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has not identified funding for the widening of this roadway; and,
WHEREAS, a proposal to widen CSAH 30 from 1000 feet west of CSAH 101 to Dunkirk Lane to a four lane
divided roadway with trails has been submitted by the City of Maple Grove and Hennepin County; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Maple Grove is submitting an application for federal funds as a part of the Metropolitan
Commission's Solicitation for Surface Transportation Funds for this segment of roadway; and,
WHEREAS, this improvement would benefit the residents of Corcoran as well as the many other users of this
roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran. Minnesota. that the City
of Corcoran officially declares its support to Maple Grove in their application to seek funding for this project,
provided that Maple Grove complies with the City of Corcoran's Comprehensive Plan which includes but not
limited to sewer and water to 31 acres in the NE quadrant prior to 2010 and entrance signage to the City.
