HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2005-50 - Approving Conditional Use Permit For Hope Community Church On Property Located At 19951 Oswald Farm RoadCity of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2005 -50 Motion By: Thomas Seconded By: Lymangood APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 19951 OSWALD FARM ROAD. WHEREAS, Hope Community Church has requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow a daycare accessory to the church on property legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 2, Hope Place, Hennepin County, Minnesota WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the above listed conditional use permit at a duly called Public Hearing, and; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Hope Community Church for the above listed conditional use permit, subject to the following conditions: 1. The conditional use permit to allow a daycare in the existing church building is approved in accordance with the plans and application received by the City on April 18, 2005, based on the finding that the conditional use permit standards have been met. Specifically: a. The applicant has submitted an application to the Department of Human Services for a license. b. All signage shall comply with Chapter 84 (Sign Ordinance) of the Corcoran City Code. c. The proposed use is not an expansion of the legal, non - conforming church use or structure. d. The proposed daycare use will comply the conditional use permit standards in Section 1070.020 of the Zoning Ordinance. 2. No changes to the approved Hope Community Church site plan are approved. 3. An inspection for building code review is required prior to occupancy of the space by the daycare. i Page 2 of 2 4. A license from the Minnesota Department of Human Services is required. The applicant must provide proof of daycare license from the Department of Human Services prior to occupancy. 5. The applicant must submit a building plan prior to occupancy to clearly identify the area in which the daycare /preschool will be located. Expansion of the daycare /preschool will require City approval to ensure compliance with ordinance standards. 6. The septic system must be analyzed for adequacy and proof of compliance must be provided to the City prior to occupancy. ADOPTED by the City Council the 9th day of June 2005.
