RESOLUTION 2005 -11

A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR DESIGNATION AS AN
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has designated certain lands in their Comprehensive Plan to be
eligible for designation as an agriculture preserve; and
WHEREAS, the below described parcels are located within the area defined as Rural
Residential; and
WHEREAS, owners of the below described parcels have made official application for their
designation as an agricultural preserve; and
WHEREAS, the requirements regarding size, covenants, development density and other
stipulations of the act are deemed legally satisfied.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following properties owned by and described
below are hereby designated as Agricultural Preserve:
PID 08- 119 - 2344- 0001(40 acres) — Owned by John and Staci Scherber
SE '/4 of the SW '/a of Section 8, Township 119, Range 23
PID 17-119-23-11-0001 (Parcel A) — Owned by Donald and Ann Scherber
That part of the NE '/4 lying N of County Road 10 and E of the W 3 acres thereof, except road
And
PID 08- 119- 23- 42- 0001(Parcel B) — Owned by Donald and Ann Scherber
N '/2 of SE '/4 of Section 8 and SW '/a of SE '/4 pf Section 8, except roads
(153.5 acres in total)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the above properties must submit to the requirements of "A -1
Agricultural Preserve" District as an overlaying, more stringent zoning for the duration of
requested designation. No subdivisions can occur unless and until said properties are removed
from the Ag Preserve Program.
