RESOLUTION NO. 2002-84

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Corcoran was an effort funded through a
grant provided by the Metropolitan Council; and
WHEREAS, the grant identified three tasks that made up the entire process of the
Comprehensive Plan, those being a Natural Resource Inventory and Management Plan, the
Comprehensive Plan to be utilized as the policy document to shape the future of Corcoran, and
the third task was the development of district plans; and
WHEREAS, this included a very public and meeting intensive process to resolve planning issues
in the community, and identify goals and prioritize the needs and objectives of the community;
and
WHEREAS,the City does understand that there are conditions and items that will require their
attention, and that they will fulfill those duties as required, to assure the integrity of the Plan and
the future of Corcoran.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Council of the City of Corcoran does hereby
adopt the Corcoran Comprehensive Plan including the Natural Resource Inventory and
Management Plan.
