RESOLUTION 2002-71

A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL HOME OCCUPATION
LICENSE FOR THE OPERATION OF A BUSINESS PROVIDING
INTERPRETING REFERRAL
WHEREAS, Pamela Nygren-Olson at 6517 Hunter Road, has applied for a Conditional Home
Occupation License, (CHOL); and
WHEREAS, the ordinance states that the Commission shall consider certain standards and
criteria when reviewing a CHOL; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 15, 2002 as required by Ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that a
CHOL shall be granted to Pamela Nygren-Olson at 6517 Hunter Road for the purpose of
conducting a interpreting referral business based on the following findings and subject to the
identified conditions:
FINDINGS:
a. This is currently not a legal operation.
b. It is a low impact use.
c. There are three employees, one full-time and two part-time.
d. There are no deliveries made to the site.
e. There are no customer visits to the site.
f No environmental or watershed issues were identified
g. All business conducted within the residential structure.
h. Adequate parking is available for the employees.
i. No traffic impact to the residential setting.
CONDITIONS:
1. The CHOL is not transferable
2. No advertising signage for this business is permitted on site or off site.
3. Three employees shall be permitted, constituting up to two (2) full time equivalents,
consistent with the amended Ordinance No. 178, with verification of employees as of
May 24, 2001, approved by the city administrator.

4. Applicant shall abide by and remain in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and
City rules and regulations.
5. This License will be reviewed by the City every three years from the date of issuance for a
determination that the existing Home Occupation still warrants the issuance of a license.
6. The City may revoke or modify the CHOL upon a finding that conditions have changes to
warrant revocation or modification of the license.
