HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-63 - Approving CHOL - Vic Peppe, 22840 Strehler Road City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2002-63 Motion By: Bucher Seconded By: Gag eby A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL HOME OCCUPATION LICENSE FOR THE OPERATION OF A CABLE BURYING BUSINESS WHEREAS, Vic Peppe, 22840 Strehler Road, has applied for a Conditional Home Occupation License, (CHOL); and WHEREAS, the ordinance states that the Commission shall consider certain standards and criteria when reviewing a CHOL; and WHEREAS,a public hearing was held on August 15,2002 as required by Ordinance. NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that a CHOL shall be granted to Vic Peppe at 22840 Strehler Road for the purpose of conducting a cable burying business based on the following findings and subject to the identified conditions: FINDINGS: a. This is currently not a legal operation. b. Road access is to Strehler Road. c. There is no business activity in the winter months. d. It is a low impact use. e. There is one employee. f. There are no deliveries made to the site. g. There are no customer visits to the site. h. No feed back from neighboring properties. i. No environmental or watershed issues were identified. j. Accessory structure complies with the ordinance and was authorized by CUP. CONDITIONS: 1. The CHOL is not transferable 2. No advertising signage for this business is permitted on site or off site,except that signage is permitted on the equipment. 3. Any equipment stored or parked on site shall he within the accessory structure, or screened from public view. 4. One employee shall be permitted. 5. Applicant shall abide by and remain in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and City rules and regulations 6. Vehicles shall be limited to those identified on the application, or similar in character. 7. The semi shall be permitted on site, for winter storage only. • City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota 8. This License will be reviewed by the City every three years from the date of issuance for a determination that the existing Home Occupation still warrants the issuance of a license. 9. The City may revoke or modify the CHOL upon a finding that conditions have changes to warrant revocation or modification of the license.
