RESOLUTION NO. 2002-57

WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the 11th day of July, 2002 fixed a date for a council hearing on the
proposed improvement of Hage Drive;
AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was
held thereon this 22"d day of August,2002, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard
thereon.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN,MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary,cost effective,and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted 11 day of July,2002.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to advertisements for bids for improvement to Hage Drive, bids were received,
opened and tabulated according to law,and the attached bids was received complying with the advertisement.
AND WHEREAS, Buffalo Bituminous of Buffalo , Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORCORAN,MN:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contract with Buffalo Bituminous
of Buffalo Minnesota in the name of the City of Corcoran for the improvement to Hage
Drive according to approved plans and specifications,on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been entered into.
