HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-54 - Approving CUP Home Occupation License - Jon Issacson -1' City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION 2002-54 Motion By: TH 0 MA-S Seconded By: GAGE-6V A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL HOME OCCUPATION LICENCE FOR THE OPERATION OF A LANDSCAPE AND LAWN CARE BUSINESS WHEREAS, Jon Isaacson, 10515 County Road 116, has applied for a Conditional Home Occupation License, (CI-IOL); and WHEREAS, the ordinance states that the Commission shall consider certain standards and criteria when reviewing a CHOL; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 18, 2002 as required by Ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that a CHOL shall be granted to Jon Isaacson at 10515 County Road 116 for the purpose of conducting a landscape and lawn care business based on the following findings and subject to the identified conditions: a) This use is currently only permitted under a CHOL. b) The use will not adversely impact the character of the surrounding area. c) The accessory structure meets the current regulations. d) Access onto County Road 116 will not cause a negative impact. e) There are no business deliveries made to the site. f) There are no customer visits to the site. g) The proposed use will not cause odors, dust, files, vermin, smoke, gas, noise, or vibration or impose hazards to life or property in the neighborhood. h) The demonstrated use complies with the city plans and the geographical area involved. i) The use will not depreciate the area in which it is proposed. j) The use will not inherently lead to or encourage disturbing influences in the neighborhood. k) Eligibility for one employee has been demonstrated per the requirements of the Home Occupation Ordinance. CONDITIONS: 1. The CHOL is issued to Jon Isaacson at 10515 County Road 116,and is not transferable. 2. Equipment for the business shall be stored so that it is not visible from the road or adjacent properties. 3. No signage advertising the business is permitted on site. 4. The CHOL shall allow one seasonal employee. City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota 5. The Licensee shall abide by and remain in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and City rules and regulations. 6. This License will be reviewed by the City every three years from the date of issuance for a determination that the existing Home Occupation still warrants the issuance of a license. 7. The City may revoke or modify the CHOL upon a finding that conditions have changes to warrant revocation or modification of the license.
