HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-38 - Approving Loukusa Family Acres Second Addition AMENDED RESOLUTION 2002-38 Motion By: Thomas Seconded By: Bucher A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A LOT DIVISION AND EXEMPTING THE SPLIT FROM THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS. THE APPLICATION INCLUDES LOTS 3 AND 5 OF THE LOUKUSA FAMILY ACRES SECOND ADDITION LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 5,IN THE CITY OF CORCORAN,MINNESOTA WHEREAS, Donald and Hazel Loukusa, as applicants, have requested approval of a lot division and land transfer; and WHEREAS, the zoning and subdivision regulations permit the subdivision as proposed and it may be exempted from the subdivision process because both lots are platted;and WHEREAS,the Corcoran Planning Commission reviewed the request on May 2,2002;and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend the Council approve the request; and WHEREAS, the Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that the requested lot division is exempt from the procedural subdivision regulations and is approved, subject to the following conditions: 1. The east 302.97 feet of Lot 3, Block 1, Loukusa Family Acres Second Addition is divided from Lot 3, Block 1, Loukusa Family Acres Second Addition and shall be consolidated with Lot 5, Block 1, Loukusa Family Acres Second Addition. 2. Drainage and utility easements 10 feet either side of the new lot line shall be dedicated by document at the time the land is transferred and a copy of the easement shall be provided to the City.
