A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A LOT DIVISION AND EXEMPTING THE SPLIT
FROM THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS. THE APPLICATION INCLUDES
LOTS 3 AND 5 OF THE LOUKUSA FAMILY ACRES SECOND ADDITION
LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 5,IN THE CITY OF
CORCORAN, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Donald and Hazel Loukusa, as applicants, have requested approval of a
lot division and land transfer; and
WHEREAS, the zoning and subdivision regulations permit the subdivision as
proposed and it may exempted from the subdivision process because both lots are platted;and
WI IEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission reviewed the request on May 2,
2002; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend the Council approve
the request;and
WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the
recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that
the lot division be approved and exempt the division from the procedural subdivision
regulations be approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The east 303+/- of Lot 3, Block 1 Loukusa Family Acres Second Addition being
consolidated with Lot 5 of the same plat.
2. Drainage and Utility easements 10' either side of the new lot line shall be dedicated by
document at the time the land is transferred and a copy of the easement shall be provided
to the City.
