HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-47 - Approving CUP for Accessory Structure - 3175 CR 10 Strube CUP RESOLUTION 2001-47 Motion By: Gmach Seconded By; Thomas A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CUP TO ALLOW AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE TOTALING OVER 3175 SQUARE FEET IN AREA WITH 14 FOOT SIDEWALLS AT 21250 COUNTY ROAD 10 (PID# 15-119-23-31-0009) WHEREAS, Troy and Christine Strube, as applicants, have requested a CUP to allow the construction of an accessory building; and WHEREAS, the ordinance allows over 3175 square feet of building with greater sidewalls on parcels of 10 acres or more by CUP; and WHEREAS, the parcel in question is 12.3 acres in size and the total area of accessory structures requested is 3,840 square feet with 14 foot sidewalls; and WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 7, 2001; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend the Council approve the request;and WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers the recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran that CUP to allow 3,840 square feet of accessory structure with 14 foot sidewalls to be built at 21250 County Road 10 be and hereby is approved based on the following findings and subject to the listed conditions: FINDINGS: a) The request is consistent with city plans and the geographical area involved. b) The use will not depreciate the area in which it is proposed. c) The use will not adversely impact the character of the surrounding area. d) The demonstrated need for such use has been provided by the applicant. e) The proposed use will not cause odors, dust, files, vermin, smoke, gas, noise, or vibration or impose hazards to life or property in the neighborhood. f) The use will not inherently lead to or encourage disturbing influences in the neighborhood. g) Equipment and materials will be stored indoors. Strube CUP RESOLUTION 2001-47 CONDITIONS: 1. No commercial use of the building shall be allowed unless it is consistent with City regulations regarding home occupations. 2. The wetland edge shall be delineated and staked subject to review and approval of Hennepin Conservation District. 3. Plans for the building shall be submitted and shall conform to the Ordinance. 4. No additional access to the property shall be permitted.
