RESOLUTION NO. 2001-34

A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AMENDED CUP FOR PARK PLACE
STORAGE TO ALLOW AN R.V. DUMP STATION ON SITE
WHEREAS, Paul Jorgensen, as applicant, has submitted an application for
amended CUP; and
WHEREAS, The Corcoran Planning Commission held a public hearing and
reviewed the request on May 3, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted 6-0 to recommend the Council
approve the application with conditions; and
WHEREAS, The Corcoran City Council considers public testimony and the
recommendation of the Planning Commission in making a decision.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Corcoran
that the amended CUP to allow an RV. dump station for Park Place Storage be and
hereby is approved based on the following findings and subject to the listed conditions:
a) The request is consistent with city plans and the geographical area involved.
b) The use will not depreciate the area in which it is proposed.
c) The use will not impact the character of the surrounding area.
d) The demonstrated need for such use has been provided by the applicant.
e) The proposed use will not cause odors, dust, files, vermin, smoke, gas, noise, or
vibration or impose hazards to life or property in the neighborhood.
f) The use will not inherently lead to or encourage disturbing influences in the
neighborhood.
g) The use will be incorporated into the site plan and will not be visible to
surrounding properties.
CONDITIONS:
1. The applicant shall provide the City with a record each time the tank is
pumped and the total gallons pumped.
2. The tank shall include an alarm with a red light to indicate a problem with
the system and to indicate when pumping is necessary.
3. The tank shall be setback at least 10' from a perimeter property line and at
least 75' from a wetland or pond.

4. The tank and related equipment shall be placed so as not to interfere with
snow plowing and maintenance equipment.
5. The dump station shall be located within the security fence and shall only
be for use by owners of the storage units.
The following voted in favor of said resolution: Bucher, Gageby, Guenthner and Thomas
The following voted against the same:
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
