Whereas, the Dalai Lama is a spiritual leader of one of the world's major religions; and
Whereas, the Dalai Lama has dedicated himself to promoting peac d tolerance among
persons of all beliefs, as evidenced by his receipt of the Nobel P e Prize; and
Whereas, our State and local c omm i - nriched is presence;
Now, therefore, Be It Resolved:
The City of Corcoran w- omen the alai L on the occasion of his visit to the State
of Minnesota and extends to hi open invitatio o honor our City with a future visit.
