RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -23

WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisements and requests for bids and quotes for improvements to city roads, throughout the
city, bids and quotes were received,opened and tabulated according to law,and the attached bids and quotes were received
complying with the advertisements and requests.
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Chard Tiling of Belle Plain,MN is the lowest responsible bidder for Drain Tile;
AND WHEREAS,it appears that Northwest of Goodridge,MN is the lowest responsible bidder for Crack Sealing;
AND WHEREAS, it appears that T&S Trucking of Hanover,MN is the lowest responsible bidder for Gravel Hauling;
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Duininck Brothers of Hanover,MN,and Hassan Sand and Gravel of Hassan,MN are the
lowest responsible bidders for Gravel;
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop of Maple Grove,MN is the lowest responsible bidder for Seal Coating;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORCORAN,MN:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contracts with the lowest
responsible bidders identified above in the name of the City of Corcoran for the road improvements according to
approved plans and specifications,on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidders and the next lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has
been entered into.
Adopted by the City Council this 12th day of April 2001.
