Resolution Calling Hearing on Improvement
Rolling Hills Road
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted, February 22, 2001, a report has been
ordered to be prepared by City Engineer, Vince Vander Top, with reference to the improvement
of Rolling Hills Road, and this report will be received by the council on March 8, 2001.
WHEREAS, the report will provide information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORCORAN,
MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting and non-abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
for the improvement of$ 715,000.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of March,
2001, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as
possible, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
