A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO STEVE AND LINDA KOHNEN
TO CONSTRUCT A 16 FT. BY 28 FT. (448 SQ. FT.) THREE SIDED HORSE SHELTER FOR A
TOTAL OF 5,648 SQUARE FEET OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS ON AN 11.0 ACRE RESIDENTIAL
HOMESTEAD, LOCATED AT 23240 COUNTY ROAD 30,

WHEREAS, Steve and Linda Kohnen have requested a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 16 ft. by 28 ft.
(448 sq. ft.) three sided horse shelter for a total of 5,648 square feet of accessory buildings on an
11.0 acre residential homestead, located at 23240 County Road 30; and
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1999, the Planning Commission considered the Conditional Use Permit request
and moved to recommend approval with conditions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby approves a
request by Steve and Linda Kohnen for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 16 ft. by 28 ft. (448 sq. ft.)
three sided horse shelter for a total of 5,648 square feet of accessory buildings on an 11.0 acre residential
homestead, located at 23240 County Road 30, and legally described as the South 761.52 feet of the West
629.18 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 119, Range 23,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, subject to the following conditions:
1. The shelter should be for personal use only.
2. No commercial use of the horse shelter shall be allowed.
Moved by member Zuc.her, seconded by member 1,;•-45I.e.t3.
The following voted in favor of said resolution: Mayor Guenthner, Council members Bucher, Lindsley, and
Thomas.
The following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
