Rd. 19 RESOLUTION NO. 1999 - 33 1 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY JOEL AND PAUL JORGENSEN/GREG HEGI FOR THE REZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 30 ACRES FROM R-1, RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO C-2, GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, LOCATED AT 6605 COUNTY ROAD 19, PID #31-119-23 31 0004 WHEREAS, Joel and Paul Jorgensen/Greg Hegi have made application for the rezoning of approximately 30 acres from R-1, "Rural-Residential" to C-2, General Business District, located at 6605 County Road 19; and WHEREAS, on May 6, 1999, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this application and moved to recommend approval of rezoning of this property to C-2, "General Business District" with conditions. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby accepts the Planning Commission recommendation to approve the rezoning of approximately 30 acres from R-1, "Rural-Residential" to C-2, "General Business District" as legally described on attached Exhibit "A", subject to the following conditions: 1. Approval of Land Division 99-07. 2. That the City proceed with amending the Land Use Plan to include this area in the Comprehensive Plan Update as Commercial. 3. Approval of the expanded commercial use of the driveway entrance onto County Road 19 by the Hennepin County Transportation Department. 4. Termination of the Conditional Use permit for a golf driving range and clubhouse that was granted for the 40 acre parcel at 6605 County Road 19 in 1992, upon the division of the property and the subsequent rezoning of the 30 acre parcel to C-2. ALSO, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is hereby directed to prepare the necessary Ordinance for execution and publication. Mayor ATTEST: Cit Cle • Exhibit "A" Resolution No. 1999 - 33 Legal Description: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 119, Range 23, Hennepin County Minnesota, according to the Government survey thereof, lying north of the South 1371.17 feet of the said Southwest Quarter, measured parallel to the south line thereof, and also lying south of the North 10.00 acres thereof. Subject to a 50.00 foot wide easement for Highway purposes over under and across the East 50.00 feet of said tract measured at right angle to the East line thereof.
