A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE TO ST. JOHNS EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN
CHURCH FROM FRONT YARD SETBACK AND MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT; AND A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND SITE PLAN APPROVAL TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION
OF AN ADDITION TO THE CHURCH 8 FEET FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE AND AT A
HEIGHT OF 36 FEET, LOCATED AT 9141 COUNTY ROAD 101, PID #13-119-23 11 0011
WHEREAS, St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church has requested a variance from front yard setback and maximum
building height; and a conditional use permit and site plan approval to allow the construction of an
addition to the church 8 feet from the front property line and at a height of 36 feet, located at 9141 County
Road 101; and
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1999, the Planning Commission considered the variances and conditional permit/site plan
approval requests and moved to recommend approval with conditions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby approves a request by St.
Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church for a variance from front yard setback and maximum building height; and a
conditional use permit and site plan approval to allow the construction of an addition to the church 8 feet from the front
property line and at a height of 36 feet, located at 9141 County Road 101, and legally described on the attached Exhibit
"A", subject to the following conditions:
1. Approval of a site plan including parking,building design and landscaping.
2. Approval of a grading and drainage plan by the City Engineer.
3. Approval of wastewater and water plan.

The following voted in favor of said resolution: Mayor Guenthner, Council members Bucher, Glowacki, Lindsley,

Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
