A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION/HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE MAXIMUM
ALLOWED SQUARE FOOTAGE (300 SQ. FT. ) FOR AN ACCESSORY BUILDING FOR A
TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER TO FACILITATE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 512 SQ. FT
EQUIPMENT BUILDING, LOCATED AT 23400 COUNTY ROAD 10,
PID #07-119-23 43 0001 AND PID #07-119-23 43 0002
WHEREAS,The Minnesota Department of Transportation/Hennepin County has made application for a variance from
the maximum allowed square footage (300 sq. ft. ) for an accessory building for a telecommunications
tower to facilitate the construction of a 512 sq. ft. equipment building, located at 23400 County Road 10;
and
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1999, the Planning Commission considered the variance request and moved to recommend
approval with conditions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby approves a request by
the Minnesota Department of Transportation/Hennepin County for a variance from the maximum allowed square
footage for an accessory building for a telecommunications tower to facilitate the construction of a 512 sq. ft. equipment
building, located at 23400 County Road 10 and legally described on the attached Exhibit "A", subject to the following
conditions:
1. The users (Minnesota Department of Transportation, Hennepin County and Metro Transit) shall not construct
additional equipment buildings.
2. Submittal of a document showing the actual access easement to the property.
3. Hennepin County to put their own culvert and driveway in on the east property line.
4. Hennepin County to have the easement on the east property line installed in 90 days.

Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
