A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY FRANK JEDLICKI TO REZONE
APPROXIMATELY 3.20 ACRES FROM C-1, "LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT" TO C-2,
"GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT", LOCATED AT 7455 COUNTY ROAD 116,
PID #26-119-23 14 0020.
WHEREAS, Frank Jedlicki has made application for the rezoning of approximately 3.20 acres
from C-1, "Limited Business District" to C-2, "General Business District", located at
7455 County Road 116; and
WHEREAS, on March 4, 1999, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this
application and moved to recommend denial of rezoning of this property to C-2,
"General Business District" based on the finding that some C-2 uses are not
compatible with the overall plan of the business area, and would cause major negative
impacts on safety and aesthetics ; and
WHEREAS, on April 8, 1999, the City Council reviewed the application, staff report, and
Planning Commission recommendation , and moved to approve the rezoning of this
property from C-1 to C-2, as the current zoning is inconsistent with the zoning of the
surrounding area, and the C-2 classification would increase the tax base for the
property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby
grants approval the rezoning of approximately 3.20 acres from C-1, "Limited Business District" to
C-2, "General Business District" and legally described as Lot 7, Block 4, Countryside Plaza, Second
Addition, all in Sec. 26, Twp 119, R 23, Henn. Co., Minn, according to the recorded plat thereof.

The following voted in favor of said resolution: Mayor Guenthner, Council members Bucher,
Thomas, Glowacki, and Lindsley.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
