A RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO GERALD JOSEPH
TO CONSTRUCT A 32' X 32' (1024 SQ. FT.)ACCESSORY BUILDING FOR A TOTAL OF 1,995.23 SQ. FT.
OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS ON A 2.0 ACRE RESIDENTIAL HOMESTEAD,
LOCATED AT 9100 SHANNON LANE,PID#13-119-23 11 0005
WHEREAS, Gerald Joseph has made application for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 32'x 32' (1,024 sq. ft.)
accessory building for a total of 1,995.23 sq. ft. of accessory buildings on a 2.0 acre residential homestead,
located at 9100 Shannon Lane; and
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1999, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this application and
recommended approval with conditions.
WHEREAS, the motion failed on a vote of 2 Planning Commissioners in favor of approval, and 4 Planning
Commissioners against approval with the reason for denial being that the proposed square footage
of accessory building was over 65% greater than the ordinance allows.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby accepts the Planning
Commission recommendation to deny issuance of a Conditional Use Permit to Gerald Joseph to construct a 32'x 32'
(1,024 sq. ft.) accessory building for a total of 1,995.23 sq. ft. of accessory buildings on a 2.0 acre residential homestead,
located at 9100 Shannon Lane, and legally described on the attached Exhibit "A".
Moved by member Bucher, seconded by member Glowacki.
The following voted in favor of said resolution: Council members Lindsley, Glowacki,and Bucher
The following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
