HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2003-81 - Approving 2004 Organization and Annual Appointments City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2003-81 Motion By: BUCHER Seconded By: THOMAS RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ORGANIZATION AND ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CORCORAN FOR 2004 WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran (City) is required to designate the official newspaper, official depositories and signatories, make annual appointments to various commissions within the organization of the City, as well as other defined organizational items as defined by State Statute and City Codes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City hereby makes the following appointments for the year 2004. 1. Official Newspaper Crow River News, 33 2nd Street N.E., PO Box 280, Osseo, MN 55369 2. Council Meetings Regular City Council Meetings: 7:00 PM on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Special Meetings may be held in accordance with state law and local ordinance. 3. Acting Mayor The Acting Mayor shall be Chuck Lymangood 4. NW League of Cities Delegate The NW League of Cities Delegate shall be David Gageby 5. NW League of Cities Alternate The NW League of Cities Alternate shall be Chuck Lymangood 6. Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council Advisory Commission LaDonna Meinecke (has volunteered to be on this commission— she made contact with NWHHSC) 7. City Staff City Administrator Susan Vergin City Clerk/Treasurer Kary Tillmann Public Works Director Patrick Meister Police Chief Paul Schutte 8. Planning Commission Appointments (See Exhibit A) 9. Planning Commission Meetings Regular Commission Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. Special Meetings are held in accordance to state law and local ordinance. 10.
