RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 66

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING SUPPORT
TO THE HIGHWAY 55 CORRIDOR COALITION
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran fully acknowledges and supports the Coalition in their efforts to
preserve the Highway 55 Corridor between I-494 in Hennepin County and the western limits of the City
of Annandale, working toward increasing safety, providing additional capacity, and improving access and
transit services along the Corridor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council had determined in June 2002 that participation with the Coalition would
burden the already stressed resources of the City, and therefore at that time declined participation.
NOW BE IT RESOLVED,that the Highway 55 Corridor Coalition has readjusted their 2004 fee schedule
based on city population, reducing the annual fee to the City of Corcoran to $250 effective January 1,
2004;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Corcoran in support of the Coalition's
efforts does hereby approve participation in the Highway 55 Corridor Coalition, starting January 1, 2004.
