RESOLUTION NO. 2003-16
MOTION BY MEMBER: Bucher
• SECONDED BY MEMBER: Gageby
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted on February 13, 2003 a report has been
prepared by BRA with reference to the improvement of Chisholm Trail, and this report was received
by the council on this 13th day of March, 2002. and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost
effective, and feasible.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDBY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORCORAN,
MINNESOTA:
1. BRA is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans
and specifications for making of such improvement.
2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of$ 171,480.00.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27 day of March 2003 at 7:00
p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
