RESOLUTION 2003-07

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION AS AN
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE FOR CRAIG AND WENDY BIORN
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has designated certain lands in their Comprehensive Plan to be eligible
for designation as an agriculture preserve; and
WHEREAS, the below described parcel is outside of the moratorium area and is located within the area
defined as Rural/Ag Residential; and
WHEREAS, owner of the below described parcel has made official application for its designation as an
agricultural preserve; and
WHEREAS, the requirements regarding size, covenants, development density and other stipulations of
the act are deemed legally satisfied.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the property owned by Craig and Wend Biorn and
described as:
PID 16-119-23-43-0001 (40.18 acres)
The SW '/ of the SE '/ of Sec. 16,T. 119, R.23, City of Corcoran, Hennepin County, Minnesota
Be subject to the requirements of "A-1 Agricultural Preserve" District as overlaying, more stringent
zoning for duration of requested designation. No subdivisions can occur until out of the Ag Preserve
Program.
