(Motion Carried 5:0) Resident Greg Ebert questioned the council as to why it happened, noting that there is too much time spent on personal attacks, not focusing on their fiscal responsibilities. Lymangood stated that city business is delayed; ongoing issues are not being resolved. For example the open meeting law policy is an example of unnecessary time spent by staff because the council could not make a decision. Council actions impact the budget. Thomas stated that businesses and developers do not pursue Corcoran because of the instability of the City. Too many restrictions were placed on the Open Space Preservation Plats causing developers to go away.
