SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
May 4, 2009
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Call to Order
The Corcoran City Council met on May 4, 2009, at City Hall in Corcoran, Roll Ccill
Minnesota. Present were Mayor Gunthner, Councilor Milbrandt, Councilor Gmach
and Councilor Thomas. Council Hudok was excused due to work commitment.
Also present was City Administrator Donahue. Mayor Guenthner called the
meeting to order at 5:14 p.m.
1. RESOLUTION 2009 -16. APPROVING CHANGES TO THE
SIGNATORIESS FOR ALL FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS OF THE CITY.
SIGNATORIES ARE TO BE AMENDED TO LIMIT THE FOLLOWING:
• MAYOR GUENTHNER
• COUNCILOR THOMAS
• CITY ADMINISTRATOR DONAHUE
Motion by Councilor Gmach, Seconded by Milbrandt to approve Resolution.
VotingAye: Guenthner, Gmach, Milbrandt, and Thomas. (Motion carried 4:0).
2. RESOLUTION 2009 -16. APPOINTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR DANIEL
.1. DONAHUE AS CORCORAN, MN CLERK /TREASURER
Motion by Councilor Thomas, Seconded by Milbrandt to approve Resolution.
VotingAye: Guenthner, Gmach, Milbrandt, and Gmach. (Motion carried 4:0).
3. MOTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SELL TO HIGHEST BIDDER A
2004 CHEV PICKUP REPLACED BY COUNCIL ACTION ON MARCH 12, 2009
WHICH AUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE
Motion by Councilor Thomas, Seconded by Milbrandt to approve motion. Voting
Aye: Guenthner, Gmach, Milbrandt, and Gmach. (Motion carried 4:0).
4. SETTING DATE FOR SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING. Council members
agreed by consensus to convene a special council meeting on May 13, 2009, at 7 pm for the
purpose of establishing short and long term goals and objectives for the administrator and
the city for the remainder of 2009 and for the 2010 Budget process.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION made by Thomas, seconded by Milbrandt, to adjourn at 6:12 p.m.
Voting Aye: Guenthner, Gmach, Milbrandt, and Thomas (Motion carried 4:0)
