RESOLUTION NO. 2004-90

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING A REGIONAL TRAIL ALONG COUNTY ROAD 19
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran has been in discussion with the Three Rivers Park District and
adjoining cities to address the development of a regional trail along County Road 19 from Baker
Park Reserve to Crow-Hassan Park Reserve; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran adopted a Parks and Trails System in 2004, which identifies
this regional trail extending from our most southerly border to our most northerly border along
County Road 19, providing a regional connectivity; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Corcoran does strongly
support the submittal by the Park District to the Metropolitan Parks and Open Space Commission
requesting the inclusion of the County Road 19 corridor into the Metropolitan Parks and Opens
Space Policy Plan.
