RESOLUTION NO. 2004-45
MOTION BY MEMBER: BUCHER
SECONDED BY MEMBER: LYMANGOOD
WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran adopted a revised Subdivision Ordinance on March 23, 2004;
and
WHEREAS, Subdivision Ordinance Section 955, identifies that the Parks and Trails
Commission shall recommend area and location of land to be conveyed or dedicated for public
purposes, as defined in the Parks and Trails Plan; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Plan is to offer residents recreational opportunities, while
preserving and making unique natural resources accessible; and
THEREFORE, the Parks and Trails Commission has created a Map to provide those amenities
based on the City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the City's Natural Resource Inventory,
identifying locations of Parks and Trails in generality.
SO BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Corcoran accepts the
recommendation from the Parks and Trails Commission and does hereby adopt the Parks and
Trails System Map.
