HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-11 - AG Preserve Application - Meister City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota DOCUMENT HA'ir: RESOLUTION 2000-11 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION AS AN AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE FOR JOHN&JOYCE MEISTER WHEREAS, the preservation of agriculture and a rural environment is a primary goal established by Corcoran's Comprehensive Plan and is a primary purpose of the current adopted code; and WHEREAS,the City of Corcoran has previously designated certain lands, included below described parcels, as eligible for designation as an agricultural preserve; and WHEREAS, the owner of the below described parcels has made official application for its designation as an agricultural preserve; and WHEREAS, the requirements regarding size, covenants, development density and other stipulations of the act are . deemed legally satisfied. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the property owned by John&Joyce Meister and described as: Parcel A—PID 14-119-23 41 0002 E '/z of SE '/4 except S 180 ft of W 304.5 ft thof except roads, Section 14, Township 119, Range 23, City of Corcoran, Hennepin County, Minnesota Parcel B—PID 14-119-23 42 0001 Beg atsw cor ofw % ofse '/4the along s line thof 618ftthn45086/100ftthw20ftthn 100ftthe 100ftths 100 ftthe 188 71/100 ft th s 208 71/100 ft th w 208 71/100 ft th s 242 15/100 ft tosaidslinethetoapt 140ftwofse cor of w '/z of se 1/4 th n 180 ft the 140 ft to e line thof th n to ne cor of w 1/2 of se '/4 th w to nw cor thof th s to beg ex road, Section 14,Township 119,Range 23, City of Corcoran, Hennepin County, Minnesota Be subject to requirements of"A-1 Agricultural Preserve"District as overlaying,more stringent zoning for duration of requested designation. No building/subdivisions can occur until out of the Ag Preserve Program. • Moved by member Dixie Lindsley, seconded by member George Gmach. • The following voted in favor of said resolution: Mayor Guenthner, Council members Bucher, Gmach, 1 Lindsley, and Thomas. • The following voted against the same: None. • Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried. • Dated this 24th day of February 2000.
