HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-44 - Approving Lease Agreement with Hennepin County for Election Equipment City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2000-44 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR ELECTION EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board has purchased all voting equipment for the cities in Hennepin County for election purposes; and WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran approved a"Concept Approval" for election equipment on 2/26/98 with Hennepin County; and WHEREAS, the Hennepin County received Board Approval on August 3, 1999 to enter into "Hennepin County/City of Corcoran Lease Agreement". The City's cost is the Maintenance Agreement at a rate of$125 per unit(Corcoran has two units) not to increase 3% of prior two year Maintenance Agreement(Maintenance Agreement would begin 1/1/02). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Corcoran that the Election Equipment Lease Agreement with Hennepin County is accepted. • Moved by member Dixie Lindsley, seconded by member Ron Thomas. • The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Lindsley,Thomas, and Bucher. • The following voted against the same: None. • The following was absent: Gmach. • Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried. • Dated this 13th day of July, 2000. /s/Kenneth Guenther Mayor Kenneth S.
