RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING CHAD ROBRAN FOR 10 YEARS OF SERVICE
LEADING THE CORCORAN COUNTRY DAZE EVENT
WHEREAS, The NW Area Jaycees (JC's), then known as the Corcoran Area JC's, had an
idea to hold a city -wide festival to celebrate the country roots of the Corcoran area and to
unify the community in 2004; and
WHEREAS, The first Country Daze was held in 2004 and has now celebrated its 10 year
anniversary in 2013; and
WHEREAS, The event provides numerous activities and happenings for all ages including
affordable and free entertainment for families; and
WHEREAS, Any proceeds from the event go back to the community through the
donations, scholarships and many events the NW Area Jaycees put on each year; and
WHEREAS, Without the vision and leadership of Chad Robran the event would have not
existed or grown to the community celebration that it is today.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Corcoran
recognizes Chad Robran for 10 years of service leading the Corcoran Country Daze event.
