HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-80 - 2000 Election City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2000-80 A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE NOVEMBER 7, 2000 MUNICIPAL ELECTION RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS WHEREAS, the City of Corcoran (City)held a municipal election on November 7, 2000; and WHEREAS, The City Clerk has prepared a summary of the returns of the forenamed election; and WHEREAS,the City Council must canvass the municipal election returns and declare the results within two days after the election. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Corcoran, City Council that the following returns are hereby canvassed and declared the official results of the November 7, 2000 election. Mayor Votes Ken Guenthner 1595 Terry Theis 994 Over-vote 0 Under-vote 314 Write-in 43 Council Members Votes John Bucher 1646 David Gageby 1342 Over-vote 2 Under-vote 2813 Write-in 89 Council Members Votes George Gmach 1979 Over-vote 0 Under-vote 865 Write-in 102 Moved by member Lindsley, Seconded by member Thomas. The following voted in favor of said resolution: Guenthner, Lindsley, Thomas, Gmach and Bucher. The following voted against the same: None. Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
