HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-74 - Snowmobile Safety Grant Resolution No. 2000-74 "AUTHORIZING CORCORAN POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SNOWMOBILE SAFETY ENFORCEMENT GRANT AGREEMENT AND EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT" City of Corcoran County of Hennepin State of Minnesota NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, by the council of the City of Corcoran, that the Corcoran Police Department enter into a grant agreement with the State of Minnesota, acting by and through the Commissioner of Natural Resources for the project entitled "Snowmobile Safety Enforcement Program"during the period from July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Corcoran, that Paul H. Schutte, Chief of Corcoran Police Department, Cindy Patnode, City Clerk, and Mayor Ken Guenthner are hereby authorized to execute such agreements as necessary to implement the project on behalf of the Corcoran Police Department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Corcoran hereby approves a donation by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the"Snowmobile Safety Enforcement Program" in the amount of$1,000. Moved by member Lindsley, Seconded by member Gmach. All Voting in Favor Whereupon said Resolution was declared carried.
